The hotel was immaculate and lovely, however, I found San Francisco itself to be quite dreadful. The staff failed to inform us about the unsafe areas, and we mistakenly wandered into one. It was intense and frightening with many disoriented homeless individuals. Although the hotel's vicinity is secure, they should definitely inform visitors to avoid certain streets.
